چکیده

Abstract Scientists are increasingly considering quality in nonparametric frontier efficiency studies health care. There many ways to include analyses. These approaches differ, among other things, the underlying assumptions about influence of on attainable and distribution inefficiency scores. The aim is provide an overview how scholars have taken into account and, at same time, address relationship between quality. To this end, we categorized empirical according methodological dimensions collected indicators used. We performed a Web Science search for published journals covered by Citation Index Expanded, Social Sciences Index, Emerging Sources 1980 2020. Of 126 review, 78 one-stage that incorporate directly model thus assume impacts frontier. Forty-four articles two-stage consider first second stage or only. Four do not priori specific association Instead, they test empirically. Outcome far most frequently incorporated dimension. While structural as environmental variable stage, outcome predominantly model. Process less common.
